The Importance of Good Glass

Choosing the right glass for your framing project can have just as much of a “wow” factor as the choice of a frame and mat. In addition to the selection below, there are other types of glass and acrylic available. Your custom framer will help you choose the best product to meet your framing needs.

  • Conservation Grade 99% UV protection glazing such as Museum Glass® protect framed pieces from the irreversible damage caused by light exposure.

  • All art, photographs, prints and personal keepsakes need to be glazed (glass) with at least 97% UV protection to prevent irreversible damage.
