Jo Fleming’s large paintings are both landscape and abstraction. The work reflects her enjoyment of the natural, the regional landscape of forest, field and waterways of Annapolis. She is fascinated by the juxtaposition of man made elements on the natural landscape and stewardship of the environment.

Ms. Fleming studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, Maryland. Her paintings have been shown in solo and group exhibitions and placed in private as well as commercial and public collections. Her work has been exhibited through Arts in Embassies of the US State Department in Mongolia and Taiwan.
